Clinically Relevant Biotin Dose to Support Mitochondrial Energy, Myelin Health, and Neurological Function*
What It Does
HiBiotin delivers 100 mg of biotin per capsule, formulated to match the dosages used in clinical trials evaluating support for energy metabolism, neurological resilience, and myelin production.* This high-potency, water-soluble B vitamin aids healthy nerve signaling, mitochondrial ATP synthesis, and fatty acid metabolism while supporting cognitive performance and tissue repair.*
How It Works
• High-Dose Biotin (100 mg): Supports healthy synthesis of myelin and mitochondrial function by activating key carboxylase enzymes including acetyl-CoA carboxylase and pyruvate carboxylase.*[1-2]
• Mitochondrial Energy Production: Essential for glycolysis and the citric acid cycle, biotin helps convert pyruvate to oxaloacetate, supplying energy to cells with high ATP demands like neurons and muscles.*[3]
• Fatty Acid and Amino Acid Metabolism: Biotin facilitates fatty acid synthesis and branched-chain amino acid breakdown, critical for energy balance, tissue recovery, and immune function.*[2-3]
• Neurological Support: Clinical studies have investigated high-dose biotin for its potential role in supporting myelination and supporting neuronal health.*[4-6]
• Myelin Synthesis and Axonal Repair: Biotin’s role in activating acetyl-CoA carboxylase is thought to promote myelin production, contributing to neuronal integrity and improved nerve function over time.*
Who It’s For
HiBiotin is ideal for individuals with increased neurological needs, those managing energy metabolism challenges, or patients following evidence-informed protocols involving high-dose biotin for myelination and/ or mitochondrial support.*
Special Features
Each capsule delivers a consistent 100 mg dose of biotin in a well-tolerated format modeled on key clinical studies. HiBiotin allows for flexible, high-frequency dosing for neurologic and metabolic support protocols.*
