Nutrient Support for Healthy Thyroid Function and Metabolic Balance*
What It Does
Thyroid Nutrition is a targeted formula designed to support optimal thyroid hormone synthesis, metabolism, and endocrine health.* It provides key vitamins, minerals, amino acids, and adaptogenic herbs to maintain healthy thyroid function, energy, and stress resilience.*
How It Works
• Iodine (as Iodoral®): Supports the production of thyroid hormones T4 and T3 and overall metabolic activity; Iodoral® provides a stable form of Lugol’s solution containing iodine and potassium iodide.*[1]
• Vitamin A: Facilitates the conversion of T4 to the more active T3; insufficiency may impair iodine utilization and thyroid hormone activity.*[2]
• Vitamin B12: Commonly deficient in those with low thyroid function; supports energy metabolism and HPA axis health.*[3-4]
• Zinc (as zinc picolinate): Essential for enzymes involved in thyroid hormone activation; zinc picolinate offers high bioavailability.*[5-6]
• Selenium: Concentrated in the thyroid gland; plays a key antioxidant and immunomodulatory role in long-term thyroid health.*[7-9]
• Ashwagandha (Withania somnifera): Adaptogenic herb shown to support healthy cortisol levels and promote normal thyroid hormone status in stressed individuals.*[10-11]
• Coleus forskohlii: Botanical source of forskolin that supports the conversion of T4 to T3 and supports thyroid hormone production.*[12-13]
• L-Tyrosine: An amino acid precursor required for the synthesis of thyroid hormones T3 and T4.*
Who It’s For
This formula is ideal for individuals seeking nutritional support for thyroid function, particularly during periods of metabolic stress.*
Special Features
Thyroid Nutrition includes Iodoral®, a standardized iodine-potassium iodide complex, and highly bioavailable forms of key nutrients such as zinc picolinate and P5P (active B6). It also uniquely combines botanical support with micronutrient co-factors for a systems-based approach to thyroid care.*
