Q: What is changing with the CurcuWin product line?

A: We have updated the curcumin ingredient in this formula from CurcuWIN to Meriva® Turmeric Phytosome. As part of this change, the ingredient description on the label has also been updated to:

Meriva® Turmeric Phytosome (Curcuma longa extract (root) and sunflower phospholipid complex) (standardized to contain 18% curcuminoids)

You may also notice a natural color change in the encapsulated product. With the new ingredient, the powder inside the capsule may appear lighter and more orange in color rather than red. This color difference is expected and reflects the updated ingredient composition.



Q: Does this change affect the product’s quality or performance?

A: No. The product continues to meet established quality, strength, and uniformity specifications.



Q: Why is Meriva® more bioavailable than standard curcumin?

A: Standard curcumin is poorly absorbed due to low water solubility and rapid metabolism. Meriva® uses phytosome technology, which binds curcuminoids to phosphatidylcholine, helping them integrate with intestinal cell membranes and improving systemic availability.



Q: How does Meriva® compare to CurcuWIN?

A: Bioavailability: Both curcumin ingredients feature enhanced absorption mechanisms designed to overcome the poor bioavailability of standard curcumin extracts.
